Why Acorn?
We chose the Acorn to represent our wellness space because the Acorn represents so many things and is analogous to the way compassion, kindness, gratitude, and healing can grow to become self-compassion, self-kindness, gratitude, and self-healing - from an Acorn to an amazing, unique, and intricate oak tree - deeply rooted and growing in the direction of the light provided - grounded, stable, and symbiotically existing - thriving.
Each moment of each day you are presented with a choice - this instance is the beginning of the rest of your life. At this moment you are that Acorn... you have limitless growth potential.
Unlike the Acorn you can choose where and how you will be nurtured toward growth. You can shape your growth by providing yourself with the nourishment you need to grow in the best direction for you to heal throughout each season.
We invite you to experience your life rooted in a place grounded in a rich foundation of nurturing, healing, and thriving.
Let's grow together!

Dr. Christopher Stewart, DC
The body is interconnected. It is resilient. It has evolved to withstand trauma in such a way that it absorbs it - we survive, but not without consequences. Muscles are connected to bones that connect to other muscles from the tip of our toes to the top of our heads. Our bodies respond to injury by accommodating and adapting. New movement patterns are formed. We develop imbalances, then heal and regrow on top of a misaligned framework, locking in these pathological patterns. It takes work to realign that framework, achieve balance, and optimize movement patterns.

The Oak Tree
by Johnny Ray Ryder Jr.
A mighty wind blew night and day.
It stole the Oak Tree’s leaves away.
Then snapped its boughs
and pulled its bark
until the Oak was tired and stark.
But still the Oak Tree held its ground
while other trees fell all around.
The weary wind gave up and spoke,
How can you still be standing Oak?”
The Oak Tree said, I know that you
can break each branch of mine in two,
carry every leaf away,
shake my limbs and make me sway.
But I have roots stretched in the earth,
growing stronger since my birth.
You’ll never touch them, for you see
they are the deepest part of me.
Until today, I wasn’t sure
of just how much I could endure.
But now I’ve found with thanks to you,
I’m stronger than I ever knew.
